Public means of Transport here in Tanzania are excitingly unique and thrilling. Tuktuk (Bajaj) a popular Indian mode of transport has as well been adopted in the country where it can commute up to 4 pax. BodaBoda (Motorcyle) on the other hand is a more of a cheaper “private” transport where it can commute a maximum of only 2pax. Both these modes have played a big role in providing employment to Tanzanian youths and can be a very good way to view the city in a unique way.

Authentic Lokii Auction Market (Friday Afternoon)

You are in for an AUTHENTIC experience if you are lucky and free on a Friday afternoon. Lokii Market is located in the outskirts of the Arusha and hosts an Auction Market every Friday specifically for the Maasai. But with this place you will not only experience a very unique auction market but also get to try very well and traditionally barbequed mutton or lamb meat while having a chit chat with the Maasai.
