Itinerary
DAY BY DAY
Day 1: Arrival at Arusha
Your designated guide will be waiting to pick you up at either of the two airports—Arusha or Kilimanjaro International airport—depending on the arrival time of your flight. After an inviting welcome, he will transfer you to your hotel where you may unwind for the rest of the day while getting ready for a for an experience of a lifetime. Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Just approximately 2 hours’ drive from Arusha, Tarangire National Park is best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffes; bushbuck and hartebeest are often seen. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards and rarely cheetahs. You will spend a day in this incredible park which has plenty to offer so make sure to make the most of it.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti NP
This day you will visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site millions of years ago, is 600m deep and covers roughly 260sq km. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. You will descend into the crater and in a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and a very good number of the more than 500 bird species.
After the crater, you will head to a Maasai Boma where you will get to re-do your vows, but this time THE MAASAI WAY . You will have a short but brief wedding ceremony before getting back on the road ready to take Serengeti over with lots of love!
Day 4 & 5: Full days in Serengeti National Park (Central/west/east)
You will begin your day early and enjoy the morning lights and begin your safari to the next destination and home for the next few days. The Serengeti National Park is the 3rd largest park in Tanzania but the most popular with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountains covering a whopping 14 000 sq. km and offers amongst many other things the biggest concentration of big cats in the world (Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Wild cats…).
Day 6: Serengeti National Park- FLY OUT
After breakfast, you will leave with packed lunch and explore a little more while saying goodbye to Serengeti National Park and head to SERONERA AIRSTRIP where you will take your DOMESTIC flight to either Zanzibar or Arusha (OR ANOTHER DOMESTIC LOCATION) airport depending on your next destination.
Day 7 - 12: Zanzibar Beach
You will be picked up and transferred to another hotel located in one of the best beaches in Zanzibar where you will get a front row seat to the white sands beaches and blue turquoise water If you are a water sport lover then this place is your lover as you may organize different activities with your hotel such as snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing to kite- and windsurfing. Swim among the wonderful reef fish and enjoy the sights of many diverse marine creatures like turtles, rays, barracudas, octopus, zebrafish, Moorish idols, lion fish, and many more.
